Montana real estate business vs Gas prices
What kind of person are you when it comes to your fuel tank?
- Do you wait until the tank is completely empty before you fill up?
- Or are you a responsible adult who tops it off when it hits half?
I’ll go first and admit it… I’m firmly in the “run it until the tank is bone dry” camp.
Just the today I finally surrendered and filled up the old diesel truck. $175 later I was reminded why this might not be the wisest strategy. 😂
Welcome to Montana real estate, folks.
Out here we tend to make bold decisions. Sometimes that means pushing things right to the edge — whether it’s a fuel tank, a property deal, or waiting for the perfect market moment. We keep rolling, we make it work, and occasionally we pay the price at the pump (or in missed opportunities).
It’s all part of living and doing business in Big Sky Country. The winters are cold, the diesel is expensive, and very few of us are perfect at timing things. But we’re resilient, we learn as we go, and we usually land on our feet.
Are you a “run it dry” warrior like me, or a smart “half-tank hero”?
I’d love to know I’m not the only one out here living dangerously on the roads of Montana… and in commercial real estate.
